Description:
The Garvey Competitive Exam is a 2-hour, multiple choice test used to determine eligibility for Garvey Exam Scholarships. Scholarships from the Garvey Exam range from $500-$2000 per year. To renew the scholarship, students must maintain a 3.25 GPA. Students must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.25 to register for the exam. Only high school seniors are eligible to take the exam and Garvey Scholarships may only be used at Washburn University. This exam in Topeka, KS will be held on Tuesday November 30 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Check- In will start at 5:30 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. to begin the exam. Due to the University COVID-19 protocols masks will be required.
